Sorcererhat rebrands Next as SongCapsule

The new era of Next starts with a new name and redesigned app icons

Sorcererhat rebrands Next as SongCapsule

Sorcererhat today announced that Next is being rebranded as SongCapsule. The new name for the music app that’s the perfect companion for Apple Music is now available on the App Store through a free update.

Launched in 2019, Next is a fun and helpful app for music enthusiasts with extensive music libraries, enabling them to rediscover favorite songs and mix artists and genres with Magic DJ. Although the name “Next” has worked well for the past three years, the new brand creates exclusivity to represent Sorcererhat’s efforts in the music field.

New Icons and Widgets

SongCapsule received new icons on all platforms, alongside redesigned Home Screen widgets with Light and Dark modes and a new Lock Screen widget on iOS 16 to quickly launch the app.
